<p>Hubballi: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has stated that AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge has acknowledged that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar are not working in sync. As a result, Kharge has instructed them to work together, he added.</p><p>Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, Joshi remarked that Kharge had previously said that they (Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar) should work together, but they did not listen to the instructions.</p><p>The minister further commented that Siddaramaiah’s son, Yathindra, has stated that Siddaramaiah will present the 19th budget. On the other hand, some people say that D K Shivakumar will present the next budget. This clearly indicates that things are not in order in Congress, he added.</p><p><strong>Delimitation of LS seats</strong></p><p>Regarding the delimitation of Lok Sabha constituencies, Joshi said Home Minister Amit Shah has already clarified that there will be no negative impact on the southern states. It is not right to make statements on this.</p><p>“In an attempt to cover up their failures, the Congress party and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin have been alleging negative impact of delimitation. The union government’s responsibility is to ensure that no southern state sees a reduction in the number of constituencies,” he said.</p><p><strong>Sexually assault case</strong></p><p>Responding to the case of a foreign woman who was sexually assaulted near Hampi, Joshi said the state is transferring police personnel through auction, which is causing the law and order situation to deteriorate. It is not enough for the chief minister to post on social media and condemn the incident. The case should be taken seriously, and action should be taken against the perpetrators and any negligent police officers.</p>
