<p class="bodytext">Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidate K P Sathish Chandran of the CPM filed his nomination papers to contest from the Kasargod Lok Sabha constituency on Saturday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Another candidate, C H Kunhambu, who is a former MLA, too has filed his nomination papers.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Sathish Chandran was accompanied by a large number of party workers from the CPM district office to meet the district election officer. LDF leader and minister E Chandrashekaran and CPM district secretary M V Balakrishnan Master were among those who accompanied Sathish Chandran.</p>.<p class="bodytext">NDA candidate Raveesh Tantri Kuntaru will file his nomination papers on April 1, while UDF candidate Rajmohan Unnithan will file the papers on April 3.</p>
