Man accidentally shoots self

A man who had gone hunting died after he accidentally shot himself in Jaanugutte forest area on Tuesday.

Bhopalan, the victim, went hunting frequently, but on Tuesday, he did not return home even by late evening. The family informed the police, who launched a search and found Bhopalan lying dead with a bullet injury on his back.

Drinking problem

In the complaint filed by Bhopalan’s son Vasanth Kumar, he has said his father drank often and could have been in an inebriated state when he accidentally shot himself.
Kamasamudra police have registered a case.
