Man dies of KFD in Sagar

A man from Sagar taluk died of Kyasanur Forest Disease (KFD) at KMC Hospital, Manipal, on Sunday.

The disease is also known as Monkey Fever. According to Health Department officials, the deceased has been identified as Indra Jain (70). He was admitted to the primary health centre at Aralagodu in Sagar taluk 20 days ago after he complained of fever. Later, he had been shifted to KMC Hospital, Manipal.
