Newly laid park in front of police station opened

Superintendent of Police Kshama Mishra inaugurated the newly laid park in front of Kushalnagar Town Police Station and Kudlooru rural station.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that with the park, a good ambience has been created. The public should not have fear of the police station.

Kushalnagar taluk has town, rural and traffic police stations with hundreds of police personnel working in these stations. However, quarters facilities have been provided only for 35 police personnel, she said.

A proposal has been submitted to the government for the construction of housing facilities for the police. The work on the construction of quarters will commence once the funds are released by the government, she added.

The traffic station in Kushalnagar is situated outside the town. The Town Panchayat has been urged to identify land for the station within the town limits. The officials had promised to hand over land at Gundurao Layout. If the land is handed over to the police station, then measures will be taken to construct a new traffic station, said the superintendent of police.
