<p> The students of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, have earned a reputation of winning in the prestigious international moot court competition. <br /><br /></p>.<p>A year after they won the World Cup of the moot competitions in the Philip C Jessup International Law Moot Court competition held in Washington DC, three students of the University have bagged the second place in the Willem C Vis Moot competition, 2014, that took place at Vienna in April. <br /><br />Also refered to as the “Olympics of International Trade Law,” the NLSIU team conquered the second position in a competition that saw the participation of more than 300 universities from 70 countries. <br /><br />The team, comprising fourth year student, Y Shiva Santosh Kumar, and third year students, Ashwini Vadialingam and Deekshitha Ganesan, participated in the event that was held between April 12 and 17.<br /><br />The NLSIU team beat the likes of the University of Basel (Switzerland), University of Heidelberg, (Germany), Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand) and University of Belgrade (Serbia), to book a spot in the grand finals. <br /></p>
