Now, temple can be built, says RSS

Welcoming the verdict, senior functionaries said building a Ram temple at Ayodhya was an opportunity to forge national unity by forgetting the bitterness and acrimony of the past.

“This is not a moment to decide on victory or defeat. We should join our hands together to fulfil the aspirations of Hindu Samaj to build Ram Mandir at Ram Janmabhoomi. We should show national integrity during the process of construction, we expect all spectrum of society to co-operate for constructing Ram Mandir at Ayodhya,” M Venkataramu, RSS Pratha Sanghachalak, Karnataka South said.

V Nagaraj, Bangalore-based South India Bhoudik Pramukh, said the court verdict has vindicated that the land was the place where Ram took birth. He, however added: “The effect of the court judgement could be understood only after reading the judgement. I have not yet gone through the judgement.”
