<p>This was again proved at the Victoria Hospital on Sunday, where former minister Halappa has been admitted. <br /><br />Patients from far-off places come to this Hospital for treatment at affordable costs. But, this was not to be for Nagarathna from Dodda Banaswadi who had brought her daughter for treatment. <br /><br />“Though the kind-hearted doctor gave free medicines, we had to wait for a fairly long time,” she rued. The waiting facility consists of just two rows of granite slabs with just a roof for shade, another patient said.<br /><br />On the other hand, the condition of former minister H Halappa continued to be stable. According to medical superintendent of the Hospital, Dr B G Tilak, Halappa was feeling very tired due to stress and medication. <br /><br />“Due to his health condition, stress and medication he (Halappa) was feeling very tired today. However his wheezing has come down,” he added. <br /><br />The tainted minister continues to be under antibiotics, medication for hypertension and IV fluids. His food is being supplied from outside the hospital.<br /><br /></p>
