<p class="title">Congress-JDS coalition’s candidate for Udupi-Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency Pramod Madhwaraj will file his nomination papers on March 25.</p>.<p class="title">Prior to the nomination, a rally from Congress Office will be taken out in which a large number of Congress and JDS workers will take part, party sources said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Udupi Block Congress president Sathish Amin Padukere said that the filing of nomination papers will be a low-key affair.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The rally will kick start from Congress Office in Brahmagiri at around 1 pm.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Pramod Madhwaraj is now a JDS candidate as under the seat sharing arrangement between the Congress and the JDS.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Pramod said since the day his candidature was announced, he has been trying to take workers of both Congress and JDS into confidence.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Madhwaraj on Friday appeared in public wearing a specially designed shawl depicting the symbols of both the parties.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He said that he will be wearing that shawl until April 18 to convince the voters that he is the candidate backed by both the parties.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He said he would extensively tour both the districts in order to meet the voters.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Meanwhile, BJP leaders have begun conducting preparatory meetings.</p>.<p class="bodytext">On March 24, Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat will chair two preparatory meetings of party workers in Udupi.</p>
