<p>Members of various organisations took out a rally on Friday to protest against Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi’s two-day visit to the State. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The protestors gathered in front of the Gandhi Statue near Anand Rao Circle around 1 pm and raised slogans against him and the Congress party. They urged him to go back to New Delhi.<br /><br />Meanwhile, over 70 protestors were taken into preventive custody and were sent to the CAR Ground in Adugodi as a precautionary measure. The police also thwarted protesters’ efforts to picket stones near Kumara Krupa guest house where Rahul Gandhi was scheduled to stay. <br /></p>
