Ranya Rao gold smuggling case: Accused Tarun Raju remanded to 15 days of judicial custody on DRI request

In the ongoing Kannada actress Ranya Rao gold smuggling case, accused Tarun Raju on Friday was remanded to 15 days of judicial custody following a request from the DRI, reported ANI.

After completing DRI custody, Tarun Raju was produced before Judge Vishwanath C Gowdar, who issued the order.

Ranya Rao was arrested upon her arrival in Bengaluru from Dubai on March 3 for carrying 14.2 kg of foreign-origin gold bars worth Rs 12.56 crore.
