<p>Sadashiva and Prakash, two residents of Basarikatte lost their two cattle about 15 days ago. A group of people were on a look out for the two cattle but in turn found remains of several cattle buried in Merthikhan plantation. The spot had remains of about 5 to 6 cattle and when the carcass were unearthed, Sadashiva recognised his cattle. <br /><br />Sadashiva, who is a labourer in the same plantation has registered a case with the Kalasa police that his cattle was butchered by other labourers in the farm for food. <br /><br />On the other hand, Prakash too has filed a separate complaint that his cattle have gone missing.</p>
