Research collaboration between Nitte and Belgium

As part of its research collaboration between Nitte Centre for Science Education and Research and Ghent University, Belgium, Assistant Professor Dr Praveen Rai and Master's degree student Prithvisagar have been awarded fellowship for three months to proceed to the Department of Bioscience and Bioengineering, Ghent University to carry out research pertaining to the collaborative DST-BELSPO (Indo-Belgian) project 'AQUASTRESS'.

The project on AQUASTRESS was awarded to Nitte - Deemed to be University Director (Research and Development) Prof Indrani Karunasagar and Ghent University Professor Peter Bossier (Project Investigator), in 2016.

Indo-Belgian research and technical collaboration supports interdisciplinary networking to enhance scientific cooperation between researchers of selected projects in both countries and to contribute to sustainable cooperation via joint research of mutual interest, organisation of seminar or workshop.
