Students' pass to be issued at 36 major bus stations

The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will commence its first issue of students’ concessional pass for the year 2013-14 on June 6.

A staggered timetable has been organised by the BMTC in order to facilitate a smooth and hassle-free issue of passes to various sections of student community. The passes will be issued at 36 major bus stations around the City, where the counters will remain open from 8 am to 5 pm.

Application forms for the issue of passes have been made available at major bus stations and will be issued free of cost. The forms can also be downloaded from the BMTC website (www.bmtcinfo.com), the forms displayed in the newspaper can also be used for the purpose.

The applicants will have to display a copy of their original fee receipt for the current year, alongside the identity card issued by their respective institutions.

The applicants will also have to carry with them two passport size photos.
