Two held for stealing coffee beans

The police arrested two persons for stealing coffee beans from the godown of an estate where the duo worked.

The arrested are Darshan, who was serving as a field officer of the estate and driver Nanjunda.

When the estate manager was verifying the bags of coffee beans on February 7, he noticed 25 parchment coffee bags missing and had filed a complaint in Suntikoppa Police Station.

The police have seized the coffee beans worth Rs 4.50 lakh from the arrested.
