<p>Mysuru: The accused in the objectionable post case, that led to the attack by thousands of people of a particular community on Udayagiri Police Station, in Mysuru, has been granted bail, on Monday.</p><p>The Second Additional District and Sessions Court has granted conditional bail to Panduranga Sathish, 46, in the case. </p>.Udayagiri violence: Mysuru cops handled situation efficiently, says G Parameshwara.<p>Sathish had allegedly shared a post on the social media. Following this, the police station was attacked by a mob, demanding the police to hand over the accused to them so that they can teach him a ‘lesson’, on February 10. The post is alleged to have hurt the sentiments of Muslims.</p><p>When the appeal for a bail came up for hearing on February 15, the Public Prosecutor, Savitha, had objected. Thus the hearing had been adjourned till February 17. Defence lawyer An Ma Bhaskar pleaded for a bail, before the judge.</p><p>Meanwhile the police have filed an FIR, regarding the attack on the police station against 1,000 persons for rioting and stone-pelting. Sixteen persons have been arrested so far.</p>
