<p>Shivamogga, DHNS: “In a shocking incident, miscreants cut off the tail of a cow in Kota village in Udupi district. Are such miscreants born to humans or animals?,” questioned former deputy chief minister K S Eshwarappa adding that he would chop off their hands or legs if he finds them.</p><p>Addressing media persons in Shivamogga on Thursday, Eshwarappa said a gang of cow attackers was found in Honnavar recently. There may be such gangs in Shivamogga district as well. The government must take action against them before the issue erupts.</p><p>“If the government continues to remain quite and miscreants continue their activities, the day is not far when I will have no option but to chop off the legs and arms of miscreants,” Eshwarappa said.</p><p>He said the state politics is in a shambles. The BJP is in the clutches of vested interests. There is politics going on. “I want to clean up the party. The party will come back to power based on its ideology,” he hoped.</p><p>The election for the post of state president is being held from the booth level in the BJP for many years. Some of them are contesting for the post of BJP state president. There is nothing wrong with it, Eshwarappa said.</p><p><strong>Kharge asked to shut mouth</strong></p><p>Referring to AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge’s remark that a holy dip in rivers at the Maha Kumbh does not solve poverty, Eshwarappa said Kharge spoke like a kid. “Kharge is trying to appease Muslims. It is better if he shuts his mouth,” Eshwarappa added.</p><p>“Muslims go to Mecca, Medina and Congress leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi go to Jerusalem. Talk about that too,” Eshwarappa dared Kharge.</p><p>He also urged the government to take action against Assembly Speaker U T Khader for his participation in the Maha Kumbh Mela.</p>
