<p>Mangaluru: A woman died and two others suffered serious injuries in a collision between two KSRTC buses at Kodankeri near Aranthodu village under the jurisdiction of the Sullia Police Station on Wednesday. </p><p>According to the police, the mishap took place when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus heading from Sullia towards Madikeri collided with another KSRTC bus coming from Madikeri towards Sullia. The accident was reportedly caused due to the negligence of the driver of the latter vehicle.</p>.14 years on, Thane accident victim awarded Rs 41.71 lakh as compensation.<p>Bharthi (50), a native of Kushalnagar, Madikeri, died on the spot. Two other passengers sustained serious injuries, while 17 others suffered minor injuries. All injured individuals were shifted to various hospitals for medical treatment.</p><p>Sullia Circle Inspector and Sub-Inspector visited the accident site. A case has been registered at the Sullia Police Station, and legal proceedings are underway. The damaged vehicles were cleared from the road to restore smooth traffic flow.</p>
