'Yoga is not affiliated to any religion'

Karma Yoga, Bhakthi Yoga, Rajya Yoga and Jnana Yoga help one to achieve self control and discipline making the person successful. Yoga is one such art that is not affiliated to any religion.

“Lifestyle, pressure and responsibilities cause stress related diseases. With Yoga one can relieve themselves from their worries and maintain good health,” said District-In-Charge Minister Krishna J Palemar presiding over the programme.

Zilla Panchayat President Santhosh Kumar Bhandary was the chief guest of the programme. The two day competition was organised by DK District ZP, Public Instruction Department and SDM Manglajyothi Integrated School. As many as 160 students from eight districts of Karnataka participated.
