<p>P B Abdul Razak, the MLA from Manjeshwar in Kasaragod district, passed away early morning on Saturday at a private hospital in Kasaragod. He was undergoing treatment for heart-related issues.</p>.<p>Razaq was the representative from Manjeshwar in the Kerala Assembly since 2011. He was a member of the national executive of the Muslim League (IUML).</p>.<p>Razaq started his political activism from the Youth League, the youth wing of the IUML, and had become president of the Chenkala Grama Panchayat as well as Kasaragod district Panchayat. </p>.<p>In 2016, he defeated BJP's K Surendran by 89 votes for the Manjeshwar Assembly seat.</p>
