'A courageous reply' and 'an apt name', says Pahalgam victim's daughter on Operation Sindoor

Thiruvananthapuram: There is no better name than 'Operation Sindhoor' to the terrorist act that wiped off the Sindhoor of many women like my mother, says Arathy, daughter of Kochi native N Ramachandran who was killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack.

Arathay told reporters that India gave a courageous and befitting reply.

"The terrorists killed innocent people by entering our soil. It was a cowardly act. Indian forces did a courageous act by attacking the terrorists by entering their camps," she said.

"My mother is also happy that India gave a befitting reply and an apt name was given to the operation. A big salute to the Indian forces," Arathy said.

She said that even as it was an irreparable loss to the families of those killed in the terrorist attack, the strong reply given by India is a big relief to the families. Such befitting replies should be given to all terrorist acts, she said.
