<p>Thiruvananthapuram: In a bid to address the environmental problems posed by dumping of liquor bottles, the Kerala government has decided to introduce a refundable deposit of Rs. 20 for all liquor bottles.</p><p>Excise minister M B Rajesh said that liquor bottles would be having QR code stickers on them. Once the empty bottles are returned to the same outlet from where it was purchased, the Rs. 20 additionally charged amount would be returned after scanning the QR code.</p>.Amit Shah has assured to take steps to release arrested nuns, UDF MPs claim as Kerala BJP makes effort to pacify church leaders.<p>It will be implemented on a pilot basis in Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur from September and will be implemented across the state from next year.</p><p>He also said that liquor priced above Rs. 800 would be sold only in glass bottles.</p>
