<p>Thiruvananthapuram: Two MLAs of NCP in Kerala, including forest minister A K Saseendran, have been asked to resign by party national leadership. </p><p>NCP national working president Praful Patel recently sent a letter in this regard to party MLAs Saseendran as well Thomas K Thomas, who is also the president of the party state unit. </p><p>However, both Thomas and Saseendran said that they would ignore any such letter from Patel. Thomas also said that it was for the Kerala Assembly speaker to take a decision on whether to disqualify them or not. </p>.Rift in NCP(SP) in Kerala; PC Chacko tenders resignation as state president.<p>The NCP national leadership is also learnt to have suspended the two, accusing them of anti-party activities and also warned of initiating disqualification steps against the two MLAs as they won on NCP ticket and are now remaining with the dissident faction. </p><p>Even as the NCP Ajit Pawar faction was declared as the official NCP, the two Kerala MLAs continued to be with the Sharad Pawar faction and are remaining as part of the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front. </p><p>The two could not shift to the Ajit Pawar faction as it would cause embarrassment to the left front as the faction is now in alliance with BJP. </p>
