<p>Both the houses of the Parliament were adjourned sine die on Thursday night, clocking in robust productivity numbers. The Lok Sabha saw a productivity rate of 160 per cent while the Rajya Sabha was productive for 128 per cent of the time set aside for it. The Women’s Reservation Bill which had 60 members participating, saw discussions for 9 hours and 57 minutes. Birla said that 32 members who took part were women MPs. </p><p>Data from parliamentary think-tank PRS Legislative shows that the Rajya Sabha functioned for 27 hours 44 minutes while the time scheduled for it was 21 hours 45 minutes. While the Lok Sabha did not lose any time in adjournments, in the Rajya Sabha, one and half hours were spent in disruptions.
