<p>Mumbai: The <em>Kaanta Laga</em> girl, Shefali Jariwala, who was a popular actor and <em>Bigg Boss</em> contestant, dancer, singer and model, passed away in Mumbai on Friday night. </p><p>She was 42.</p><p>She is survived by husband Parag Tyagi, an actor. </p><p>According to initial reports, the actor suffered a suspected cardiac arrest late on Friday night and was rushed to the Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital at Andheri, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.</p><p>Tyagi has requested privacy. </p><p>"Her body was found at her residence in Andheri. The police received the information at 0100 hrs. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. Shefali Jariwala is no longer with us. Gone too soon at just 42 due to a sudden heart attack. It’s hard to believe she’s gone. However, she overcame it with an exercise regimen.</p><p>In September 2024, Shefali shared a heartfelt message on X (formerly Twitter) remembering Sidharth Shukla on his third death anniversary. She posted a throwback photo in which she can be seen hugging him, captioned: “Thinking of you today mere dost”, with a red heart emoji. Sidharth, who was also a co-contestant on <em>Bigg Boss 13</em> alongside Shefali, had passed away on September 2, 2021, due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 40.</p>
