<p>Thiruvananthapuram: The <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/ministry-of-external-affairs">Ministry of External Affairs </a>on Tuesday confirmed the death of a Malayali in Russia.</p><p>Kerala government agency NORKA-Roots said in a statement that the MEA has confirmed the death of Binil, 32, of Kuttanellur in Thrissur. His relative Jain Kurian, 27, who was also working with him for the Russian military, was injured and under treatment in Moscow.</p><p>NORKA-Roots is in touch with the MEA and Indian embassy to coordinate steps to bring the mortal remains of Binil. </p>.32-year-old Kerala native trapped in Russia-Ukraine warzone killed.<p>NORKA-Roots chief executive officer Ajith Kolassery said that efforts were being made through the MEA to bring back Binil and Kurain when the unfortunate incident took place.</p><p>Binil and Kurian were among the scores of Indians who were illegally recruited to work for the Russian military and forced to be in the Ukraine war zone. Several Malayalis were also illegally recruited. Sandeep, 36, of Thrissur, who was recruited illegally to work for the Russian army, was killed in August.</p>
