Minor boy sexually assaulted by mom's partner

A seven-year-old boy who is battling for life at Idukki in Kerala following a brutal assault by his mother's partner was even found to be sexually abused.

According to police sources, the doctors treating the boy had conveyed that the boy was sexually abused. Hence sections of POCSO Act would be also invoked against the accused Arun Anand.

Meanwhile, the condition of the boy continued to be critical. He was on ventilator.

The accused was taken to the house for collecting evidence regarding the assault on the seven-year-old child and his younger brother, aged four. The accused used to consume drugs and was having a criminal past.
