NTAGI Chairman urges pregnant women to get vaccinated

National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NTAGI) Chairman Dr NK Arora on July 3 appealed pregnant women to get vaccinated to brace for possibility of 3rd wave of Covid. He said, “The government has decided to allow vaccination of pregnant women in any time during pregnancy. I request to pregnant women to get the vaccine so that they and their babies remain safe”. On Zydus Cadila’s vaccine, he said, “After they have submitted their dossier it should not take too long, just a matter of couple of weeks”.
