Over 700 shops reduced to ashes in massive fire in Itanagar

A massive fire broke out in Itanagar's Naharlagun on October 25. Over 700 shops were burnt to ashes. However, no casualties have been reported. Reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained. Fire-fighters swung into action immediately but as the shops were made of bamboo and timber, the fire spread before it could be brougth under control.
