Saudi crown prince de-hyphenates visits to Pak, India

Nudged by New Delhi to de-hyphenate his visits to Pakistan and India, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammad Bin Salman, on Monday returned to Riyadh after completing his tour to Islamabad.

He will arrive in New Delhi late in the evening on Tuesday.

Mohammad Bin Salman, who is also known as MBS, was initially scheduled to visit Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and China.

He, however, postponed his visit to Malaysia and Indonesia.

He commenced his visit to Pakistan on Sunday and returned to Saudi Arabia on Monday evening.

While he could have come directly from Islamabad to New Delhi instead of going back to Riyadh just for a day, MBS did so as government of India subtly nudged him to de-hyphenate his visits to India and Pakistan.
