Strong, effective steps need to be taken immediately to ensure rights of Bengal citizens, says CV Ananda Bose

After massive violence in West Bengal during the Ram Navami procession, Governor CV Ananda Bose while addressing a press conference on April 4 said that strong and effective steps need to be taken immediately to ensure that the rights of citizens of Bengal to live in peace are upheld.

Governor CV Ananda Bose said, “I’ve come to the conclusion that strong steps and effective steps need to be taken immediately to ensure that the rights of citizens of Bengal to live in peace are upheld. Criminals should not be allowed to take the law into their hands. As Governor, it’s my duty to see that everyone joins together in implementing the Constitution. We respect each other’s ‘Laxman Rekha’, each other’s turf and we will see that we'll work in unison for the welfare of the people.”
