<p>External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj ran into her husband and former Mizoram governor Swaraj Kaushal in the Parliament House and could not resist from announcing it on social media.<br /><br /></p>.<p>While sharing their picture, Sushma tweeted: “Together after many years – a chance meeting with @governorswaraj at the Parliament House gate today…He was a member of Rajya Sabha from 1998-2004. I was in Lok Sabha. Then I came to Rajya Sabha in 2000.”<br /><br />‘Together at House’<br /><br />In another tweet, Sushma said: “Together at home, not in the Parliament.” <br /><br />Sushma shared that Kaushal was governor of Mizoram from 1990 to 93. The couple were in the Rajya Sabha between 2000-2004. <br /><br />In the picture, Sushma is seen holding Kaushal’s hand, while senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh and Uttar Pradesh BJP leader Vinay Katiyar are cheering the couple. <br /><br />Kaushal, who is a senior lawyer in the Supreme Court, was one of the youngest persons to be appointed governor of a state at the age of 37. <br /><br />Kaushal played an important role as interlocutor with Mizo National Front leader Laldenga, who signed a peace accord when Rajiv Gandhi became the prime minister. <br /><br />Sushma, who enjoys a huge following on Twitter, has used the micro-blogging site to engage with and help Indians in distress across the world. <br /><br />She has about 5.58 million followers.</p>
