A fire broke out at the Idly Kadai movie set on Saturday in Anuppapatti village in Tamil Nadu's Andipatti block. However, the filming for Idly Kadai had completed its schedule at the Anuppapatti set before the fire broke out.

The film, directed and co-produced by Dhanush and starring the actor, is set for release later this year.
