Amid Pushpa 2 stampede row, Telangana Congress MLA issues open threat to Allu Arjun

'I am 100 per cent issuing warnings. If you do not change your behaviour, our Congress workers won't let your movies run here,' the MLA said.

Hyderabad: Rekulapally Bhoopathi Reddy, the Congress MLA from Telangana's Nizamabad Rural, courted controversy on Tuesday after issuing a stern warning and an open threat to Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun.

At a meeting in Nyalkal village under Mopal mandal in Nizamabad district, Bhoopathi Reddy also pointed out the Andhra origins of Allu Arjun's family. "It is a movie about a smuggler that showed how to sell red sanders.. Beware before you talk about our Chief Minister. You are from Andhra and came here for a living. You better do your business; keep your respect and do your business," he said.

"However, if you speak negatively about our CM, we will not tolerate your behaviour. You are only an actor who invests money and earns more money. What good did you do to society? What is your contribution to Telangana? I am100 per cent issuing warnings. If you do not change your behaviour, our Congress workers won't let your movies run here,” Bhoopathi Reddy added.
