<p>Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will embark on foreign tour to woo global investors from January 16. He will also attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting at Davos during his foreign tour. </p><p>As per the schedule, Revanth Reddy will visit Singapore from January 16 to 19 and Davos from January 20 to 22. </p>.Telangana sets record with 55,143 govt jobs filled in a year, says CM Revanth Reddy.<p>State industries minister D Sridhar Babu and top officials of the Industries Department will be part of the official delegation led by the Chief Minister. Revanth Reddy will hold talks with Skill University in Singapore and other investment related agreements before participating in the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos.</p><p>At a review meeting held with officials on Monday on his scheduled foreign tour Revanth Reddy said that the Telangana state emerged as the best destination for global investments in the country and attracting giant companies in the manufacturing and service sectors. The state government created an investor friendly ecosystem to woo the investors in the country as well as abroad, the Chief minister said, instructing the officials to be ready to promote the Hyderabad city , which is being promoted as the Future City soon, on the world platform and invite huge investments.<br><br>He is confident that the industrial policy, which is being implemented by the state government, will attract big investments in the future. All the welfare schemes and development programs introduced by the government in the first year helped to strength the state economy.<br><br>Following the CM-led state delegation’s visit to Davos to attend the World Economic Forum meeting from January 20, Revanth Reddy conducted a review on investments and industrial development in the state. The Chief Minister enquired the officials about the companies which had entered agreements with the government in the last year meeting and the status of the investments and the companies’ operations in the state.<br><br>The CM expressed satisfaction that the state had received huge investments in the first year. Telangana has received Rs 40232 crore investments by entering MoUs with global companies at the World Economic Forum conference held in Davos last year. 14 leading companies came forward to invest in the state and agreements have been signed for taking up 18 projects. Officials briefed the Chief Minister that about 17 of these projects have already started and 10 projects are at various stages with fast progress. The officials also informed the Chief Minister that 7 projects are in the initial stage. Revanth Reddy sought the details of the progress of the investments from each company from Minister Sridhar Babu.<br><br>The officials also briefed the Chief Minister about the plans to attend the conferences and meetings organized with the representatives of the global industries and investors during Singapore and Davos visit.</p>
