Shahi surprise! Man finds cigarette stuffed inside chicken biriyani at Hyderabad restaurant

It can be safely said the words biriyani and Hyderabad are almost synonymous! Whenever there are discussions related to the rich culinary heritage of India, Hyderbadi biriyani almost always makes its way to the conversation. There is much debate and contention among food lovers over which version of the biriyani reigns supreme. No matter what one's choice is, Hyderabadi biriyani can never be ignored!

However, in a rather anti-climactic turn of events, an unwanted surprise awaited a group of ten friends in a restaurant in Hyderabad. Their plans of a perfect meal were spoiled when, to their dismay, one of them allegedly found a partially-smoked cigarette on his plate of chicken biriyani, which he had ordered, reports Hindustan Times. The restaurant in question is reportedly located at RTC X Road in Hyderabad.

The person claimed that he found the cigarette on his plate just before finshing his meal. In a video which is now doing the rounds on social media, the group can be seen sitting at a table at the restaurant with leftover food on their plates, as one of the men lowers his plate of biriyani to show the cigarette which he found.

After that, the group can be heard yelling and shouting at the restaurant employees demanding that the management be notified about thsi shocking discovery in the video. As the men continue to protest, the situation worsens as a number staff workers encircle the group's table.

The group's altercation with the restaurant employees quickly escalates into a heated dispute, as can be seen in the video. Gradually, other customers of the restaurant swarm the place, watching in shock as the argument escalates.

After the clip of the fiasco went viral on social media, netizens were infuriated and angered, who questioned the restaurant's hygiene practices and food safety awareness.
