Telangana CM Revanth Reddy sounds LS poll bugle in Indravelli

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief minister, A Revanth Reddy on Friday sounded poll bugle in Indravelli of Adilabad as he announced that two more guarantees of the six promised by Congress during last year assembly polls will be launched soon.

Congress in Telangana launched its campaign for Lok Sabha polls as Revanth Reddy addressed a mammoth public meeting in Indravelli while lambasting BRS and the 10 years of KCR rule.

Revanth Reddy has a sentiment value attached to Indravelli. It was here he addressed his first public meeting Dalit Girijana Dandora, after taking over the party reins in Telangana as PCC chief in 2021.

Hoping to recreate the same magic of 2023 polls where Congress led by him trounced the mighty BRS and ambitious BJP, Revanth Reddy had chosen Indravelli to launch his campaign for Lok Sabha polls.

“We brought INdiramma rule by blowing a ‘victory’ conch from Indravelli. Again, I am blowing victory conche from the same place. The country will develop only when Rahul Gandhi becomes the Prime Minister. Congress should win the Adilabad Lok Sabha seat if Rahul Gandhi wants to become Prime Minister,” said Revanth Reddy.

He said that his government will launch the distribution of gas cylinder at Rs 500 to the poor soon. “AICC leader Priyanka Gandhi will launch the scheme in the presence of one lakh women. Supply of 200 units of free power will also be launched soon. Let us all unite and rebuild Telangana state that was ruined in the last 10 years,” he said.

Revanth Reddy said that KCR and his family members looted Telangana and ruined the state completely. “KCR family looted Rs 40,000 crs in the name of Mission Bhagiratha. KCR never thought for the well being of people except for his own family members.

The government is undeterred by the obstacles created by the opposition. The state cabinet will take a decision to fill 15,000 constable jobs in 15 days,” he said.

The chief minister also ridiculed the claims by the opposition that the Congress government will fall in no time.

“Some people are making comments that the government will fall in three or six months and KCR will become CM. Who can dethrone the government? The government will not collapse like the Kaleshwaram project which was constructed by spending lakhs of crores by the previous government. The Congress led government is elected by the people and it is the people’s government. People will tie the leaders, who conspired to unseat the government , to the trees and slap them,” added Revanth Reddy.
