<p>Hyderabad: A day after Rahul Gandhi said there are many BJP sympathisers in Gujarat Congress unit, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Monday said Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, is a 'covert' operative for the BJP in the state. He accused the CM of failing to address Telangana’s pressing issues, including Backward Class (BC) reservations. </p>.<p>KTR alleged that Revanth Reddy’s actions over the past 15 months reveal a hidden alliance with the BJP, aimed at stalling Telangana’s progress. He claimed during Revanth's recent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, state industries minister D Sridhar Babu was asked to step out. What did Revanth discuss with the PM in private? Telangana’s people have a right to know.” </p>.<p>He pressed for accountability, questioning what tangible benefits the state had reaped from Revanth’s tenure in terms of central support or projects.<br><br></p><p>If Revanth Reddy genuinely cares about BCs, he should launch an indefinite hunger strike in Delhi, he said. KTR expressed deep skepticism about Revanth Reddy’s commitment to BC reservations, challenging the Chief Minister to prove his sincerity through action. </p>.<p>“If Revanth Reddy genuinely cares about BCs, he should launch an indefinite hunger strike in Delhi until 42% reservation is secured,” KTR said. “Telangana’s BC youth will ensure he doesn’t back out.” He argued that both Congress and BJP could easily amend the Constitution to enhance BC quotas if they wished, but accused them of exploiting BCs as a vote bank without delivering justice.</p><p>KTR painted a bleak picture of Revanth Reddy’s leadership, labeling it a “failure on all fronts.” He expressed alarm over reports of Telangana’s industries shifting to Andhra Pradesh under the Congress regime. “We’d rejoice if AP prospers, but it’s painful to see Telangana regress due to this government’s incompetence,” he remarked. </p>.<p>He also criticized Revanth’s stance on the Kaleshwaram project, noting that even Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu had lauded its value, while Revanth continued to “shamelessly” discredit it.</p>
