<p>Upping the ante against Congress government in Rajasthan over the Jodhpur communal violence, the BJP on Thursday took to the streets with a 'Jan Hunkar Rally' in Alwar which will be replicated in all districts and predicting the "exit" of Congress in the 2023 polls.</p>.<p>Intriguingly, former chief minister Vasundhara Raje's picture was missing from the poster on the rally stage.</p>.<p>Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, however, placed the blame on the BJP and dared Home Minister Amit Shah to 'probe the root cause' while pointing out that riots happened in seven states on the lines of last month's Karauli violence which, he alleged, was a 'laboratory experiment'.</p>.<p>"If Amit Shah Ji has the courage, then he should form a committee headed by a Supreme Court or High Court judge to get into the rootcause behind the riots that occurred in seven states after the Karauli incident," Gehlot said.</p>.<p><strong>Also Read | <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/national/national-politics/amit-shah-should-form-panel-to-probe-cause-behind-riots-in-7-states-if-he-has-courage-says-gehlot-1106687.html" target="_blank">Amit Shah should form panel to probe cause behind riots in 7 states 'if he has courage', says Gehlot</a></strong></p>.<p>Meanwhile, at least 211 people have so far been arrested in connection with the communal clashes in Jodhpur before Eid.</p>.<p>The rally was addressed by BJP State President Satish Poonia along with senior leaders, including Alwar MP Balak Nath, who has played a crucial role in government formation in the state in the past.</p>.<p>He expressed confidence that the ouster of Congress is certain in the 2023 polls. Poonia claimed how "firing and shelling was stopped" when Indian students came out with an Indian flag in Ukraine during the on-going war which was a sign of strength of the Modi government, </p>.<p>Alwar MP Balaknath, who is also a 'mahanth' of Nath sect, alleged that "Congress has the DNA of Moghuls, not the Sanatan Dharma".</p>.<p>During the rally, the BJP leaders, while sharpening their Hindutva appeal and drawing parallel of Gehlot government with the Muslim society, also tried to present the Congress government as badly lacking in law and order managment, a campaign combo that had, months earlier, helped the BJP win Uttar Pradesh for the second time. They had targetted Samajwadi Party for the alleged 'goondraj' during its rule and its alleged Muslim tilt.</p>.<p>Balak Nath alleged that on one hand, the government holds Iftar parties with money from the state exchequer and on other, incidents like 'demolition of temple in Rajgarh' takes place.</p>.<p>Incidents of violence in Jodhpur and riots in Karauli also came in for a mention at the rally. The 'Jan Hunkar Rally' was organised in all district headquarters in the state. </p>.<p>Highlighting the incident of the rape of girl, who was speech and hearing impared, in the state, BJP leaders attempted to project how Rajasthan is galloping when it comes to incidents of crime against women.<br />BJP is focussing on the Alwar region. In December last year, BJP had organised a 'Jan Aakrosh' rally in Arwal.</p>.<p>In Alwar, Congress had won five of the 11 Assembly seats in the 2018 state polls while two each were won by BJP, BSP and independents. Congress had also done well in other districts of Eastern Rajasthan -- Jaipur, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karouli and Dausa.</p>.<p>Indicating the increased focus on Arwal, top BJP leaders had visited Alwar repeatedly in recent times.</p>
