<p>Lucknow: Google has removed a road that led to a damaged river bridge in Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun district after three persons died when their vehicle, following the Google Map instructions, plunged into the river a few days back.</p><p>The victims were on their way to attend a marriage ceremony when their vehicle fell into the Ramganga river on Sunday.</p><p>According to the sources, the police also questioned an official of Google in this regard though the details of the questioning were not revealed.</p><p>District officials said that the road leading to the bridge would no longer be seen on Google Map and it has been removed from the app.</p>.PWD, Google Maps officials booked in Bareilly bridge death case.<p>The officials also blamed the PWD for the incident saying that the latter had not put up proper signage on the approach road to the bridge. ‘’A small wall had been erected by the PWD but some people had broken the wall,’’ said an official in Badaun.</p><p>Sources said that a report had been sent to the government in connection with the incident. A few engineers of the PWD were likely to be acted against, sources said.</p><p>A portion of the bridge, which was near Muda village on Dataganj-Fareedpur road in the district, had been damaged in the floods in September 2003 and movement of vehicles had come to a halt following the damage. </p>
