<p class="title">Zee Media Corporation Limited (ZMCL) has served a legal notice to SAD MLA and former Punjab minister Bikram Singh Majithia for his alleged defamatory allegation against its editor Dinesh Sharma.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Majithia is the brother of union minister Harsimran Kaur. Majithia had reportedly alleged while talking to newspersons at Hoshiarpur on August 2 that Sharma had demanded Rs 20 crore from him before 2017 Punjab assembly elections for favourable reportage. Rs 100 crore on account of damages have been sought besides a public apology.</p>
