Temple closes as 2 women in menstrual age enter Sabarimala

For the first time after Supreme Court quashed a ban on entry of women in the age group of 10 and 50 to Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple, two women entered the sanctum santorum of the hilltop shrine. Bindu (42) and Kanakadurga (44), who 'visited' the temple around 3.45 am also released video clips on social media. They had made a failed attempt to visit the temple on December 24.
