Contrary to the cap of 135 litres per person per day prescribed by the Union Urban Development ministry, according to the study, areas likeKoramangala, Yelahanka Satellite Town, Sarakki, Gandhinagar, Halasuru and Shantalanagar have emerged as the top localities in per capita water consumption for domestic needs while localities such as Gottigere, Thanisandra and Kadugodi consume much less. Karnataka chief minister H D Kumaraswamy on Thursday inaugurated Bengaluru Tech Summit 2018. The 21st annual tech summit has participants from Israel, France, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Finland, Netherlands and Sweden among many others.
The three-day event will be attended by global tech captains, futurists and innovators showcasing their tech prowess.
The event is organised by the Department of Information Technology and Biotechnology and Government of Karnataka in association with STPI and supported by Nasscom, IESA, TIE etc
