Post-Christmas sales open at offline stores

Many ongoing sales in the city have succeeded in attracting the city’s crowd.

With just a couple of days left for a new year, online and offline stores are offering huge discounts to clear their inventories.

While online stores were busy with their Christmas and end-of-season sales, offline stores have just launched their post-Christmas sales, some of which extend till the end of January.

Shoppers Stop’s end of season sale is offering up to 51 per cent off on Indian and international brands across categories: apparel, beauty, footwear, watches, sunglasses, accessories, handbags, luggage, and home décor. The sale is on at their physical stores, as also on their website and mobile app.

Credit card users get additional discounts at almost all online sales Metrolife checked out. Some offline stores also offer incentive to card holders.

The Phoenix MarketCity’s sale from January 4 to 6 offers a flat 50 per cent discount on 300 brands at the mall. A ‘shop and win’ contest is on till January 31. Customers have to shop for Rs 10,000 to qualify, and the prizes include international holiday packages, gold jewellery, mobile phones, and a Mahindra Marazzo car.

A host of brands are ending the year with big discounts. H & M in V R Bengaluru is selling at half price, while Marks and Spencers is slashing 25 per cent off its clothing range. Health and Glow is offering up to 40 per cent off on beauty products.

A complete Wonderchef kitchen set worth 10,000 is going for Rs 5,999: it includes a pressure cooker, a mixer grinder, a frying pan, a dosa tava, and a turning spatula.

Food apps are also encouraging you to binge. Zomato has Rs 150 off on its food orders if paid through Mobikwik. You also get up to Rs 100 on breakfast orders. If you pay via RuPay you get discounts of up to Rs 175.

Kalyan Jewellers is offering gifts like TVs and refrigerators, mobile phones and home appliances.

PayTm Mall, an online store, is slashing prices by up to 60 per cent. They also have cashback offers.

Lifestyle is offering discounts of up to 50 per cent off on a wide range of products. The sale features leading fashion brands. You can also buy on their website and app.
