Madhya Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel triggered a controversy with her statement that adopting needy and malnourished children is the only way to get votes to convert Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream into a reality.
The incident occurred at Satna, Madya Pradesh, where she met BJP leaders, including the mayor, to whom she revealed her personal tactics of getting votes.
The Opposition slammed the governor, saying the statement was not appropriate to the office she holds. The Opposition is now planning to raise the issue in Parliament.
