Congress high command to decide on next Maha CM: Prithviraj

"I do not take decisions. The Congress High Command will decide," the Minister of State in the PMO told reporters here.

Besides Chavan, Union Ministers Mukul Wasnik and Gurudas Kamat are being talked about as possible candidates for the top executive post in Maharashtra.

Earlier in the day, Chavan met Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and offered to resign in the wake of reports that three of his relatives -- mother-in-law, sister-in-law and brother-in-law -- were allotted flats in Adarsh Group Housing Society in upscale Colaba in south Mumbai.
