Last Updated 21 September 2018, 14:16 IST

Former chief minister Siddaramaiah stated that possibility collapse of JD(S)-Congress government after his foreign tour or BJP coming to power is just a dream of BJP, and nothing would happen to the government, which is stable; While there is no question of him becoming the chief minister now.

On his way to Badami, he told media persons at Hubballi Airport on Wednesday that he stated that he would become the chief minister if people bless him in next elections.

"At a function held at Holenarasipur, people submitted some memoranda and wanted me to fulfil their demands. So I said I can do so if I become the chief minister next time. Some of my supporters want me to become the chief minister, just because of admiration," he clarified.

Congress is not neglected in the coalition government, and Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy writing a letter to AICC general secretary K C Venugopal against Congres leaders is a false news. Programmes of coalition government go to both parties, Siddaramaiah noted.

He said, Kumaraswamy in his budget speech clarified that programmes of the previous government would continue, while the coordination committee has also taken a decision in this regard. All programmes of the previous government would continue, Siddaramaiah added.
