WhatsApp on Friday introduced its own set of stickers, which will be rolled out for Android and iOS users in the coming weeks.
Users can choose from a wide range of stickers such as a smiling teacup, crying broken heart and so on to use on their favourite messaging app, owned by Facebook.
WhatsApp has also allowed support for third-party stickers. Users and developers can create and publish their own set of stickers for the app on the Google play store and the App store.
Currently, users can use the stickers by downloading the beta version of WhatsApp on Android and iOS platforms.
For now, 12 stickers can be freely downloaded. The stickers, once downloaded can also be used offline.
