Indian weightlifter Mirabai Chanu lifted 88kg in her second snatch attempt in the womens' 49kg category. Although she failed to lift 90kg in her third attempt, she still set a new record. 88kg is both Chanu's personal record, as well as theCWG record in the women's 49kg weightlifting category.
The weightlifting event is still underway and the winners are yet to be announced.
