MS Dhoni has been rested for the final two ODIs against Australia, to be played at Mohali and New Delhi, India’s batting coach Sanjay Bangar said.

"Some changes will be there because Mahi is not playing the last two," Bangar said at the press conference after the third ODI here. "He’s taking rest after this so he won’t play. So there’ll be a place left vacant by him,” said Bangar.

“Shami also had a hit on the leg. We have to see whether he’ll be fit for the game. If he’s not fit then Bhuvneshwar Kumar will play. As of now no replacements, if there is anything our media team will let you know.” he said.

If no replacements are named, Rishabh Pant will take Dhoni’s place for the games in Mohali and New Delhi.
